Negotiated ProposalBelow are the steps we took to help stop the proposed development of 95 homes on this landmark property and instead negotiate a better option for the community.

- Led a Working Group to organize and implement action steps
- Met with City representatives to clarify development project points
- Identified conditions to include in the Conditional Zoning
- Undertook a traffic study to determine operational and safety impacts
- Determined key dates for public input during the approval process
- Hosted a City Council Candidates Forum prior to the primary election
- Launched a campaign to mobilize community members
- Provided resource info through our 767 Development webpages
- Published news posts as we learned new information
- Sent email updates to our members and subscribers
- Utilized social media to expand our reach in the community
- Got 400+ residents to attend the March 20 Planning & Zoning meeting
- Held 3 negotiating meetings, two moderated by the Mayor
- Hosted community meetings to discuss development options
