HCCA is sponsoring Haw Creek's first annual Holiday Cookie Exchange & Contest on December 14 at 5:30 pm at the Library.
This free event is open to 30 bakers and 10 children who can participate in a cookie decorating activity.
Bakers should bring 3 dozen homemade cookies for exchanging. Cookie boxes will be provided for you to take home the cookies you select. Refreshments will also be provided.
There will be 3 awards: Best Tasting, Best Presentation and Most Creative.
Space is limited to 40 total so register today to save your spot and start planning to bake your most scrumptious cookies! Your registration confirmation will include details about participation.

HCCA is sponsoring our second annual chili cook off contest and you are invited to participate in one of two ways: As a chef entering your own homemade chili or as a judge to help select the winning entrant. A Chili's Restaurant gift card will be given to the favorite selected by the tasting judges.
Entry is free! We will be asking for voluntary donations at the door, as well as holding a raffle and bake sale to help offset the costs. Event registration is requested (select Chef or Tasting Judge). There's no better way to spend a fall evening than eating homemade chili with your neighbors!
